Effective response to new technological challenges

The Tabira F.I. focuses on technical aspects and on the development of KNOWLEDGE and technology regarding transformation processes of metallic materials. With the aim of giving an effective response to the new technological challenges faced by industry, these are some of objectives set:

  • To promote KNOWLEDGE and technology regarding the different transformation processes of metallic materials.
  • To boost and programme activities that lead to an interchange of technical knowledge.
  • To develop constant training programmes.
  • To advance on the internationalization of casting KNOWLEDGE To promote international "benchmarking".
  • To provide worldwide working networks, the interchange of knowledge and the possibility of establishing international contacts.
  • To encourage the active participation of nationals and foreigners in the forums and workshops organized by The World Foundry Organization.
  • To promote research, the development of industry and its applications.
  • To contribute to the improvement of the Foundry Industry’s image.
  • To encourage and improve the current collaborating relationships between supplier and customer.
  • To launch activities related to casting engineering.
