16th National Foundry Congress in Portugal The Portuguese Foundry Association organisers the 16th National Foundry Congress under the theme “50 years of Continuous Improvement�, an event that will take place in the city of Oporto between 2 and 3 April 2014.

A hundred and eighty papers will feature in the final Technical Programme of the 71st World Foundry Congress The International Scientific Committee of the 71st World Foundry Congress has concluded the analysis and evaluation of the full technical papers sent during the final stage of the official Call for Papers. During the process which began in March 2013, more than 280 proposals have been presented by authors of more than 35 different nationalities.
